Waterfall Hiking Trip in Monteverde

Visitors will be picked up from their hotel at approximately 7am. They will drive for 20 minutes until they reach the community of Los Olivos where they will start the tour.
The guide will welcome the visitors and have a talk about them and safety. Then, visitors will walk for 25 minutes on a dirt road through the secondary forest and see spectacular views of the Guanacaste and San Carlos area on their way to the main viewpoint. If the weather allows, 4 volcanoes can be observed: Miravalles Volcano, Tenorio Volcano, Arenal Volcano and Rincón de la Vieja Volcano.
At this stage, they will enter the primary forest through several paths to the first waterfall called Jaguarundi. This waterfall can be admired from above or down below, where visitors can to touch its waters. The trails continue winding between centuries-old trees and cliffs.
Visitors will have to cross the river with the help of safety ropes to reach the following 2 waterfalls: Ocelot and Puma, where they will take a break and have a snack of fresh fruit and water. After the break, visitors will be able to choose whether they want to climb to the last waterfall or enjoy the river.
Jaguar Escondido is the last of our 4 wonderful waterfalls. The path is steep and has intermediate level of difficulty. Reaching it requires 20 minutes of uphill hiking and 15 minutes back downhill. Then, they will cross the river once more to hike to an open area where the horses will be waiting to take them to the parking lot where they will take their transport back to the hotel at approximately 12 noon.
